Swiss Arab Network (SAN) is a non-profit, apolitical organization that strives to bridge the gaps and build a mutual understanding between Switzerland and the Arab world.
ORYX Foundation is a non-profit cultural foundation with a focus to promote understanding between cultures, this particular between the Western and the Arab and Persian cultures. ORYX give young artist- emerging talents from the Middle East the opportunity to gain new impulses for their artistic work and enable many artists to stay as artist in residence in Lucerne. The AB Gallery and ORYX Foundation’s exhibition at the Kunstzeughaus in Rapperswil is the biggest Arab art exhibition ever organized in Switzerland and will take place from July 26th to August 16th.
The goal of the Art Without Borders event is to bring together our members and sympathizers and give them a chance to discover the Middle East through art, while enjoying delicious regional food. We believe that art and intercultural dialogue are key to the mutual understanding, and help in international cooperation and in doing business together.
